Get Back To You Project
Who were you before life told you who you had to be?
You’ve spent decades building everyone else’s life. Work. Kids. Parents who now need you. Somewhere in there, you disappeared.
The weight. The prescriptions. The doctor saying this is just “getting older.” The quiet acceptance that your best days are behind you.
Get Back To You (GB2U) isn’t a slogan. It’s a movement. The daily choice to reclaim who you were before life told you who you should be.
You can start like I did by considering, what's still possible?

WHAT'S STILL POSSIBLE
My Story
I've been having the same conversations over and over with midlife friends around physical and mental health, careers and relationships, the stress and fear of facing our own mortality while caring for aging parents, and particularly around a loss of identity. We weren't even sure what we were capable of anymore.
My identity is being an athlete. This is my story of how I regained it by training to ride Skinny Tire Festival in Moab, Utah. Along the way I lost 100 lbs, eradicated my Diabetes 2, normalized my blood pressure — and got off all meds.
GRINTA!
Eros' Story
Be transported to another place and time with a little-known story about heart and grit set in the beautiful vistas of Provence, France and Veneto, Italy in the mid 1990s.
In GRINTA!, Eros Poli, a towering Italian professional cyclist, travels back to France on the thirtieth anniversary of when he defied all odds to a solo breakaway stage victory in the 1994 Tour de France on legendary Mont Ventoux.
Thirty years later, we went back to the mountain to ask "What’s still possible?" for him in midlife.
Same question. Different Mountain. Your answer starts here.

Make the move
People kept asking how I achieved a physical transformation in my late fifties, wanting advice on how to do the same. When I reconnected with an old college buddy, exercise scientist Dr. Greg Welk, we identified a process for getting back on track.

I’ve seen too many friends and peers suffer. Everyone says the right things about lifestyle changes, but they need support and encouragement to do it.
Here you can explore films and articles that share success and light a path forward. They're crafted to spark curiosity and inspire action now.
